We work in conjunction with majority shareholders, directors and management to protect and increase shareholder value and when appropriate realise shareholder liquidity.

The firm aims to work side by side with key stakeholders in a portfolio of emerging companies in a strategic, corporate or operational capacity as an advisor, executive or non-executive director.

Where possible it is intended that Millers Point will establish an equity relationship with its partner companies so that management, shareholders and Millers Point will be mutually aligned on the achievement of agreed outcomes.

PEOPLE

Millers Point is the advisory business of Matthew Morgan. A former venture capitalist for a large Australian institutional investor who has also served as an operating executive or advisor in a selection of growth equity funded companies ranging from pre revenue early stage businesses to corporate turnarounds generating over $100 million in revenue. 

Matthew possesses a track record of successfully sourcing, negotiating, leading and managing private capital investments in emerging companies. As a director, investor and executive in high growth companies he is experienced in leading capital raisings and mergers and acquisitions, driving strategic planning and operational improvement including management experience in company turnarounds.

In addition to being the first Australian graduate of the Kauffman Fellows program he holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Bachelor of Applied Sciences and Masters of Business Administration.

Millers Point is an iconic Australian location of the first commercial wharves were established there in the early 1800’s and served as a hub for commerce and working life.

Millers Point Company is named after this location and in the spirit of commerce fostered by the early inhabitants of Millers Point which helped to grow industry and trade in Australia as it connected Australia to the rest of the world.
